Decluttering : All you need is less

Would you like to investigate strategies to get your home organised?

Join us in the library for this two hour workshop delivered by the Switch your thinking team. Discover how to live with less stuff and learn practical tips to help simplify your life. A reminder to re-use, re-purpose, upcycle, recycle or throw away stuff you don’t need. There will be a break in the middle of the session for morning tea.

About Switch your thinking

Switch your thinking is a green living Local Government initiative that helps the people of Perth, their business community and Western Australian Councils to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and contribute to global efforts to secure a safe climate. To achieve this they:

  1. Promote resource efficiency and environmental awareness
  2. Trial new technologies and new ways of doing things
  3. Upskill their community and facilitate behaviour change
  4. Assist partner Councils to implement corporate greenhouse abatement strategies
  5. Forge partnerships with businesses, government agencies and community groups that share our vision.

Since they started in 2002, they have helped their program partners and community to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 339,700 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent which is the same as putting 790,000 barrels of crude oil back in the ground.
