The Department of Health and Aged Care is in the process of creating an aged care sector that is trusted, accessible, and accountable. The recent aged care reforms aim to restore dignity to aged care, and ensure older people are treated with the respect they deserve. The reforms will inform practical measures which will improve quality of life, safety and choice in aged care.
Drop into Vincent Library any day from 9am - 11am to find out more about the recent aged care reforms. The City of Vincent Library staff will be able to:
- Inform you of aged care and the changes happening as part of the reforms.
- Provide you with access information that you can take home and read or share with your loved ones.
- Collect your feedback on what quality aged care looks like to you
