Vincent Library has a wide collection of eBooks, eAudiobooks, movies, magazines and more for you to access on your computer or mobile device. Use of these services is free with your library membership.

For Adults & Teens 

Your library membership gives you access to thousands of free downloadable eBooks, magazines, comics, movies, TV shows, documentaries, albums, and audiobooks. Each service offers different entitlements:

BorrowBox

Enjoy a wide selection of Australian and international authors. BorrowBox is compatible with most tablets, smartphones, and Kindle Fire. Borrow up to 6 e-Books, 6 e-Audiobooks and 10 eMagazines at a time.

Vincent membership access

Quantity: 22 items simultaneously.

Loan period/details: 2 weeks (2 renewals per item).

To register

  1. Type “Vincent Library”.  
  2. Use your Vincent Library barcode and the four-digit PIN you created when you signed up to the Library.  
  3. Click “sign in” then follow the prompts to complete registration.

Hoopla

Borrow up to six digital books, comic books, albums, movies and TV shows per month with no wait times. Hundreds of popular titles are available for instant download.

To register

  1. Choose “City of Vincent Library and Local History Centre” as your library.  
  2. Click “next” and type your City of Vincent Library barcode. 
  3. Tick the checkbox then click “next” again.  
  4. Type your email, choose a password and click “complete registration” to finish.

Kanopy

Borrow up to 4 movies per month with no wait times. Kids enjoy unlimited downloads of movies, TV and read-along stories. Kanopy includes a large range of documentaries, series and critically acclaimed films.

Available items: Movies.

Loan period/details: 4 weeks (4 titles per month).

To register

  1. Click “Add library card”.
  2. Type in your City of Vincent Library barcode and click "Continue".  
  3. Fill out the form and click “sign up”.
