We love babies, toddlers, kids and teenagers at the library.

Our large collection of children’s and young adult books has something to suit every reader.

WHAT'S ON


Every week during the term we three regular events:

  • Baby Rhyme Time - Songs and rhymes, fun and bubbles. For families with babies.
  • Story Time - Share amazing stories, sing songs and learn through creative play together. For families with children under 5.
  • Kids Club - Friendship. Art. Reading. and Technology. Join us for Lego, art projects, experiments and science, special guests and more! For families with children in Year 1 to 6 at primary school.

     

We also run special events throughout the year:

  • Story Play were we explore stories through our senses, at the park, in languages and with special guests.
  • School Holiday workshops where we host special guests and get creative.
  • Youth Week, Children's Book Week, Children's Week and more.

All of our children's events are free and open to all abilities.
