Artist Mentoring Workshops for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Youth

Past Event

The City of Vincent and Jade Dolman are excited to host a series of workshops for young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the lead up to NAIDOC Week 2019.

The initial session on Wednesday 12 June will give attendees the opportunity to hear from local Noongar artists and business owners Marissa Verma, Kevin Bynder and Jade Dolman regarding their work and career highlights. Attendees will have the chance to ask the panel questions, meet other young artists and gain an understanding of what work they will do with Jade in the following two sessions.

The two art workshops facilitated by Jade will be held on Wednesday 19 and 26 June. Art materials are supplied, and young artists will have the opportunity to exhibit the work they produce during the workshops on Saturday 6 July at a NAIDOC Festival hosted by the City of Vincent and Noongar Radio at the North Perth Town Hall.
