Throughout this workshop, engage in hands-on creation of your very own rag rug using a range of supplied materials.

Learn to make your own cardboard weaving loom too.Leave with new-found skills in rag rugging, weaving and textile up-cycling and repurposing. No experience is needed.

This workshop focuses upon prolonging of textiles by turning dressmaking offcuts, otherwise textile waste and more into beautiful, functional and unique rag rugs. Textile and clothing wastage is one of the world's polluters; ending up in landfill is causing much environmental concern; this fun and creative workshop inspires us to reuse, recycle, reduce and repurpose.
