Using Familysearch - a workshop

Past Event

Ian Simon is president of the Western Australian Genealogy Society.

Familysearch.org is the family history website operated by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, commonly known as the Mormons. The site contains: extensive indexed records, an ever increasing library of images of original documents, access to many digitised books, family histories and trees, and a huge wiki giving guides to research throughout the world. A large proportion of the website is free to search and view.

Learn how to search for and find your ancestor in the records or find images of original records. Learn how recent changes will influence how we do family history using Familysearch.org.
