We welcome back Shannon Lovelady who will talk about this recently completed World War One project which she founded in 2016. Shannon will talk about how the project came about, what they did and what results they have achieved.The WFDWA project is supported by the Western Australian Genealogical Society (WAGS). And included in the talk, will be a comparison of the statistics of the WFDWA project with the statistics of the 2013 Gallipoli Dead sister project.
Shannon will speak about some of the men from the City of Vincent and surrounds and also about some of the unexpected benefits of this project, such as the addition of 160 new names on the State War Memorial in Kings Park as part of the Armistice Centenary commemoration later this year.
