Carad Donation Drive

CARAD are an independent not for profit based within the City, supporting some of the most vulnerable people in our community. Many of CARAD’s clients do not have the right to work and are ineligible for financial support. CARAD’s Foodbank and Emergency Relief services provide for basic needs for asylum seekers experiencing financial hardship. With rising costs of living, now more than ever they are relying on donations to be able to provide this service each week.

The City of Vincent is helping CARAD to provide essentials for refugee and asylum seeker families. You can help by donating these items at the City of Vincent Library, Administration and Civic Centre or Beatty Park:

  • Full cream UHT milk
  • Basmati rice
  • Olive oil
  • Tinned tuna (plain)
  • Tinned chickpeas
  • Tinned vegetables (ie. corn, carrots, peas)
  • Tinned fruit
  • Honey
  • Instant coffee

Please ensure all foods are unopened and within use by or best before date.
