Libraries collect, preserve and share treasure troves of community histories. By digitising our collections, we aim to make sure our past remains accessible, secure, and technologically relevant and accessible by generations to come!
At Vincent Library and Local History Centre, we pride ourselves on our collection of information and stories about people, places and events that have shaped the community.
Our Collection includes thousands of photos, books, maps, oral histories, memoirs, memorabilia and archival papers on the history of Vincent's suburbs. These include North Perth; Mount Hawthorn; Highgate; Leederville; and parts of East Perth; West Perth; Perth and Mount Lawley. Our staff love to answer your local history queries including helping you research the history of your house!
