Local History Awards 2020
Conditions of Entry
The Awards are open to everyone including non-residents, provided the subject matter is about people, places or events in Vincent.
City of Vincent staff and councillors are ineligible to enter the Awards.
All entries become part of the City of Vincent Local History Collection. Entries or extracts may be used in print and online at the City’s discretion with acknowledgement.
More than one category may be entered. A separate entry form needs to be submitted for each category.
Written entries must be original work and must be submitted as a digital file as well as a typed printed copy.
Photographs can be submitted in either hard copy (photo prints, slides) or digital (minimum size 2MB in jpg or tiff format). Hard copy images will be scanned and returned to the donor.
There is a limit of 10 photographs per entrant
Awards will be made only if, in the opinion of the judges, entries justify an award. The judges may at their discretion award additional prizes. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Entries, including the completed entry form, must be received by the City of Vincent Local History Centre by 5.00pm Wednesday 30 September 2020.
